Hurricane Ike is making its way toward the Texas Coast.  As of 8:00am Wednesday Sept 10, National Hurricane Center has the storm making landfall between Port O'Conner and Corpus Christi as a Cat 3.
Landfall is expected between 1:00am and 3:00am Saturday morning September 13th.

With evacuations taking place in the path of Ike, Junction is expecting an increase traffic and visitors/evacuees during the upcoming week and weekend.
